Top 5 Sports Movies of All Time

Ok, I admit, I thought this was going to be a lot easier than it turned out to be.  But after careful deliberation, here are the rankings.  Please keep in mind I'm not judging the actual 'movie-making' qualities of these films as much as their respective stories:

1)  Caddyshack - Ted Knight and Rodney Dangerfield are brilliant -- and the improv scene with Bill Murray and Chevy Chase in Carl's shack is simply genius -- CANNONBALL!!!

2)  Remember the Titans -- The bonding, the togetherness, the winning -- and when Coach Yost tells those boys, "Not another yard -- you make them remember FOREVER, the night they played the Titans!"   Good Stuff

3)  Rudy -- I don't like anything about Notre Dame.....except this movie.  I've seen it eleventy-gillion times, and a tear tries to creep out at the end.....every time.

4)  Hoosiers -- Who can forget Jimmy Chitwood?  Much like "Rudy", I like these 'against-the-odds' stories -- and Hoosiers shows that the guy who wants it most often gets it.

5)  Invincible -- Probably a surprise to most -- But sensing the earlier 'David v Goliath' trend, it's easy to see.  Just something about the training camp scenes when Papale is literally willing his body to compete -- just LOVE it.

Quick note, just to show what great taste my wife has, her top 5 is:  Radio, Remember the Titans, We are Marshall, Field of Dreams, and The Sandlot/Rudy tie for 5th

I've got a list for Honorable Mention, but would rather see everyone else's ideas before I reveal mine.

Thanks and enjoy!
